The question

In life we ask our, selves questions
We ask our, selves questions like what am I,
And who am I am I really what I think I am?

We also ask our, selves questions like why do
I feel like I am a boy, or why do I feel like I am a girl

We might even ask our, selves why I feel like I
A girl when everyone says I am a boy, or why do I
Feel like a boy when everyone says I am a girl

Sometimes we ask questions like should I really
Change who I am to fit the way I feel inside

Someone that is transgendered might ask these
Kind of questions

Someone that is transgendered might even ask
A question like is what I am doing wrong, or is it
Wrong to feel this way

They might even ask how can this be, did god make
A mistake with me

Some transgendered people even ask questions like
Am I an abomination, they may even ask does god
Love me, even though I am I feel like I am in the wrong
Body

We all ask our, selves these kind of questions, when we
Are trying to figure out who and what we are, and why
We are the way we are

But we must all answer these questions in our own way
and in our own time

No one made me...

Angharad's picture

I am a culmination of my experiences,
Of my desires and quests,
No one made me who I am, but me
I take responsibility, here it rests.

It took me years to reconcile,
Instead of seeking blame or strife
To accept I'm me, it matters most
And get on with living my life.

We can only be ourselves it seems,
No matter what we try
To be at peace within ourselves
And let the rest pass by.
