So... I had a long chat with a friend, and as we usually do, we talked about our stories, and the stuff we've posted here in BCTS.
And, as I feared, the discussion shifted to a discussion about my story, Danny.
The reason I feared the discussion is that Danny, I dare say my most popular story posted here in BCTS, has not been updated in a long, long while, and I have been saying to everyone that I will be updating once I've completed it. And, in full honesty, I have really been trying to. In fact I have just finished a ginormous 34 new chapters. But, alas, the story's still not finished.
But, as my friend has made me realize, it's been too long since an update, and, instead of waiting to complete it, the best thing for the readers is, at least, get an update, even if the story isn't completed.
My friend is right - why hold on to my commitment of posting only when the story's finished when, even with my best efforts, it's taking too long?
So. Starting Monday, I will start posting these 34 new chapters - one chapter every three days or so, until all 34 chapters are up, and as I'm doing so, I'll also be working on Part Eight. Hopefully, when all of Part Seven is up, Part Eight will also be done in time so I can continue updating. Wish me luck!
Also - it may be time to re-read Parts One to Six, as well as the other two "extra stories" ("Teacup Roses, Guitars, a Bus Pass and a Mistaken Identity" and "Playing the Part: Counterfeit Crusader") before Monday - it's been years, after all - you might need to refresh yourself. lol.

Yay
Will be happy to read it. Thanks.
Well done Bobbi
Yes! Too long a wait, but all the sweeter when we can see the result - thank you for doing this.
Please don't beat yourself with a rolled manuscript over the following part, it should be a good write and a good read whenever it comes.

Timely
I have just been reading this story and I am currently on part 6. Thanks for your plans to update.
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy
Salivating at the prospect.
I know how much you put into it.
Thank ye hon!
A request
Optional, of course!
But is it possible to one day increase the font size of the series?
I have a hard time reading one page on an IPad 9.7 in the vertical orientation and have to zoom in
Thx!
Changing font size.
What I do running GoogleChrome on my Android phone is to go into Settings -> Accessibility -> Text Size and increase the font size. I just tested it with "Danny - Part 3" on my phone and it works fine. If you still have problems try reading the "printer friendly version". Your browser should have a similar option.
Don’t see it on ipad version
Don’t trust Google products due to all of the data aggregating they do.
Will be deleting.
Aloha browser has font option on ipad.

Suggest you use Google Chrome
I am inclined to follow Willow's suggestion in her comment.
I, too, use Apple. But I use Google Chrome as my browser of choice on my iPad and on my Mac. It is the easiest solution - talk to your other Apple user-friends and a lot of them will say the same thing. Adjusting the settings in Chrome is sooo much easier, and make stuff more readable, and it is past the time when everyone has to follow Apple's proprietary mindset and go all-Apple. Apple doesn't have a monopoly on the best software anymore.
That, or you can just follow her other suggestion of reading the print version.
Sorry, but it's just too much tedious work going through the text of the six previous parts just to change font size etc (I can't do a global change since I have lots of tags throughout the text that change font properties). Hope you don't mind...
Thank goodness you're not taking me to task about the fonts themselves. Heheheheh (wink).

Not Been Years For Me
I've read them at least three times in the last month! 34 chapters? That's like a feast to a starving woman!
