I think it has been very apparent that I have been struggling with the Cynthia Chronicles series. For that reason, I will be drawing it to a close shortly, or at least relatively shortly. I've been working on the final episode for a while; at least in fits and starts. It may take a while to make it right. This may take some major rewriting of a previous episode or two. I wrote the ending many years ago, but removed it from here because there needed to be many more things to be tidied up. I hadn't intended it to be the end at that time; however, I realized that was the ideal place to end everything. We'll see how it works out. Two stories I'm particularly proud of are "Bobbie and the Glass Ceiling" and "Cynthia and the Queen of the Knight."
"Charli and the Girl Cave" was well received, and "Adam and the Three Wishes" also received good feed back. I know that stories involving magic and The Wizard aren't that popular, but I thought I would try to make the SRU characters more realistic and more likeable. I based three other stories on operas, and they were very well received. I have some more ideas to follow that line. Whether or not I continue to write is unknown at this time; however, I will not leave the chronicles unfinished.

The Cynthia Chronicles are awesome.
Out of all of the SRU stories I've read, there are few I like as much as the Cynthia Chronicles. And it is because the wizard and others are more lovable. I look forward to reading your future works.
10 years...
10 years...
it's been 10 years of Cynthia. 17 stories, novels, and novellas. You have filled-in the lives of just about all of the cast to the point that the next generation are the only untold stories. Maybe a long break from the stories is good, an epilog story where everything comes together but leaves you able to write more in the future.
As someone who is nearing the end of their universe's stories, it's hard to continue on when you are just rehashing the past and are far beyond what anyone could jump into without needing to reread everything over again. It's time, you are opting to do the right thing and end it. As long as you have your "out" and leave a little room to go forward if you get an idea that works, ending it is the right thing to do.

I just need to wrap it up, and let it go. I had certain goals when I started, and I met those goals. Most of them were met by the end of Cynthia and the High School Years. Cindy and Bobbie are well adjusted women. They remember their past, but don't dwell on it. I will finish it, but who knows when.

All stories in this universe of yours are great but the most imported thing was you fixed the Wizard. If previously he wasn't a supervillain but anyway very vicious person you made him still not Santa Claus though more Grandfather style man.
