I had this idea in my head for a while and when a new writing contest was announced for January, I finally put pen to paper. I always post complete stories, but due to the nature of the contest, which happens to be a reader retention contest counting the kudos over the various parts of a complete story in a series, I broke this new novel into eight pieces. I plan on publishing one section every three days, starting January 1, 2019.

To the world and everyone around Luke Williams, he was destined for success. Now in his final year of medical school and dating a beautiful young woman, his path is set to live the American dream. Everyone believed it except for Luke.

Luke struggled with his place in the world, his career choice, and even the woman he was with. When a tragedy suddenly occurs, Luke is shaken. He questions everything about who he is and what his goals are in life. He feels called to go back to where things all began for him; the place he was found as a young child twenty years earlier. A place called the Gateway of the Gods; the Doorway to the Amaru Meru.
