We had some fun discussing a few favourite epic fantasy genre stories and I discovered some great suggestions I hadn't come across before. As a result I thought it might be interesting to try the same for Science Fiction genre stories. In my definition of Sci Fi I am excluding 'superhero' powers.
Mainly because it would make the list WAY too long and you can just go over the Whateleyacademy.net to read some of the fantastic stories in the Whateley universe where some of the most talented authors here have cut their teeth.
All the links I have are off site
The two series I think are superb are the Caregivers universe and the Erinyes and an absolute must for any diehard Sci Fi fans.
Caregivers Universe
The Best and Brightest - Maggie Finson
Guardians of the Gates of Madness by E.E. Nalley
Home is the Sailor home from the Sea by Heather O'Malley
The TLC War by Bek. D. Corbin
The Song of Corazon by Maggie Finson (be warned - this is an incredibly emotionally powerful story, also read all of the above first)
For the Erinyes stories set in a rather Dystopian future go to the Erinyes library at whateleyacademy.net and start from the bottom of the list up. The authors are again some of our stars; E. E. Nalley, Bek D. Corbin, Maggie Finson, Joe Gunnarson and Starwolf.
I've just tried to seed any discussion with a few of my favourites rather than offer up a long list.
Does anyone else have any suggestions for classic Sc Fi genre TG fiction?

There are some great ones here @ BCTS
Legacy of the Anari by Ashleigh Blayze
Several by Breanna Ramsey, my favourite is 'Genomorph'
Erin's 'Fantastic Mars'
Several by Casey Brooke, my favourite is the Jupiter Trilogy 1- A Princess of Jupiter, 2 - A Slave of Jupiter, 3 - still being written
Legacy
Yes, that is a fantastic one. I keep hoping for it to have a follow on.
The Warrior From Batuk
I wish Aardvark well, where ever they are writing. The Warrior From Batuk pleased me a great deal, and I wish there were more like it. It is similar to Penny Lane's, "Somewhere Else Entirely". So many of those on your list are on mine also.
Sue Brown's. "The Green Fog" was outstanding as are her other works.
I love Angela Rasch's sweet stories.
I do not know that the Author is on this site, but I thought "Prisoners of the Tiressas" was quite fun.
I suppose there are simply far too many for me to remember them all.

Legacy of the Anari by Ashleigh Blayze
I say that she is one of the best writers I have ever encountered, and where ever she is, I hope that she is using her creativeness and writing skill in some capacity.

Amethyst
Is another very talented author and I am sorry that she disappeared from here. The last I heard from her is that she was dancing. Perhaps she liked that better than writing?

Steel Beach
by John Varley, he also wrote the wizard series. I used to be a sci fi addict/hoarder.
