A year or so ago I read a brilliant story... and I can't remember it. Could anyone help me remember where it is please?
A young boy is a talented artist attending a catholic school. His family however are not very supportive of his talent.
He enters a statewide talent contest having forged his parents approval and gets through the preliminary round. The only problem is his covert
alter ego is a girl.
Her winning art series is based on the 'manners of death'

Thank you for this post. I don't know how I missed this story the first (or second) time it was posted, but I read it over the past week, and I loved it. Flummox was a first-time author and did a first rate job of it. Good story, good writing, very few typos or incorrect word choices. She said she would eventually write a second book of Rayne's story. I hope we don't have too long to wait.
