I'd like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to all of you for pushing the total Kudos count for my stories beyond 10 000!
That makes it more than a thousand per year since I posted my first story here in December 2008. My writing was a bit sporadic in the beginning. Actually you could divide my stories into three periods: two stories in December 2008, a number of extremely short stories in 2010 and the present bunch from October 2014 and on.
I'm no less grateful for all the kind comments. Generally supportive, often very generous and occasionally extremely perceptive. I treasure them all.
On a more detailed level you have recently given me the joy and satisfaction to see several of my stories flip to -00 in the end. Most recently the most popular one gained a 3 in the beginning. A level I never expected a story of mine to reach.
On the flip side I've noted that I suck at writing sequels/tie-ins to earlier stories and that my "Dark stories" aren't very popular. Tough luck! I'll keep subjecting you to my "Dark stories" every now and then.
That may be some time in the future though. My recent flurry of stories (whether dark or not) has been triggered by some less than positive events in my life and to large extent worked as a safety valve. I'm happy to announce that I don't expect to publish more stories in the near future.

While I appreciated the time and care that go into crafting multi-chapter stories, your short stories always grab my attention. I wander in, knowing that there will be something unexpected and unique about each story. More important, I know I’ll hit the coup de gras before I have to get back to the humdrum of the real world. The stories I’ve read from you have always been worth the time to read and read again. (To bad there’s no ‘re-kudo’, but that would be too indulgent). You’ll just have to appreciate the extra two or ten read counts.

Don't you trust me?
FBI, MI5 and I keep forgetting what the corresponding organisatons in Germany, France, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Singapore, Lithuania and the Netherlands are called, they all trust me. Apparently GRU as well thought I was reliable since they refrained from contacting me.
I particularly liked my performance as lady Adelli. As for my driver - working only for me. I couldn't have it any other way.
FYI I speak around 10 languages and have studied another 6 (including old Prussian) at various universities without being able to claim that I speak them so brace yourself
