Once upon a time, an old country doctor was visiting a sick patient on his farm. As he was leaving, he happened to see an old, boarded up well, which piqued his curiosity. Naturally, he wondered why it was boarded up, so he went over to remove the obstruction. Alas, he accidentally fell in. For two days, the farmer and his friends tried to get the good doctor out, finally succeeding as the sun was setting. The curious doctor had learnedaval uable lessonand, never again let his curiosity run away with him.
Moral:
The doctor should have tended to the sick, and left the well alone.

BUT
what the fly didn't know...
was in the water below was a fish....
and the fish said,'Ya know....
if that fly buzzed down... juuuuusssst an inch.....
I'd jump and nab that fly.....
and I'd have me some breakfast.
BUT
what the fish didn't know....
was that on the bank of the stream was a bear...
and the bear said," ya know....
If that fly would buzz down.....
JUUUSSSST an inch....
that fish would jump up to nab the fly....
I would reach out an d snatch that fish....
and I'd have me some breakfast".

What the bear didn't know....
was across the stream was a hunter with a gun.
And the hunter said, " Ya know....
If that fly would buzz down,
JUUUSSST an inch...
The fish would jump up to nab the fly...
The bear would reach out to snatch the fish....
I'd pop up to shoot the bear....
and I'd have me some breakfast.
Now, in the hunter's pocket, is a cheese sandwich...
and what the hunter didn't know....
was that behind him, in the bushes,
was a mouse.
And the mouse said, "ya know....
*pause here to get a drink and light a smoke*
If that fly would buzz down...
JUUUSSSSST an inch....
The fishwould jump up to nab the fly
the bear would reach out to snatch the fish
the hunter would pop up to shoot the bear,
the sandwich would fall.....
I'd dash out to grab it
and I'd have me some breakfast.
BUT
What the mouse didn't know...
that in a tree above him...
was a cat.
and the cat said," ya know....
if that fly would buzz down

the fish would jump up to nab the fly
the bear would reach out to snatch the fish,
the hunter would shoot

the mouse would dash...
and I'd pounce on the mouse
and I'd have me some breakfast....
well as usually happens, time passed, the sun rose, and the day began to warm
and the fly's buzzin crept lower and lower....
Suddenly!
the fish nabbed!
the bear snatched!
the hunter shot!*BANG!!*
the sandwich fell!
the mouse dashed!
the cat pounced!
hit a patch of mud..and slid ZIPPPP! into the stream.....
moral of the story?
fly goes down pussy gets wet....
