sigh.

While I continue to struggle with advancing the three open tales I have on BCTS, I decided to stall for time and try to make a case that I was not in fact deceased.... (perhaps, at worst brain-dead ....or suffering from dormant muse syndrome) by posting something entirely different.

The good news is that it is self contained and should leave no reader with a case of "And then....?" syndrome.

The bad news is that I always felt it could be ....more.... and chose not to publicly post it until I could figure out how to make it live up to my ambitions.

But I guess it is a case of the old saying... it is easier to be done than finished.

I posted it out of frustration over my meager recent output and expect to regret that decision within moments. :-)

Oh well. It's out there now. And I hope it is not too big a waste of time for anyone who chooses to read it.

It's far more sci-fi than transgender.... yet there's no way I wouldn't put that element in - however passing (yet fundamental) to this story.

For those who take the time to read EMMISARY , I hope you enjoy it. Although it's not quite all I wanted it to be, it's the essence of the story I wanted to tell. I hope that will be adequate.

But it's really still all about ....misdirection.... and distraction.... as I struggle to move forward on my three open stories.... which I am determined to bring to satisfying (yet open ended) conclusions.
