Sorry haven't had the time or energy to write much of late. I have one more assignment to do for my course for this year, which I have to complete this weekend to submit before next thursday, the deadline. It counts as an exam and will be marked quite strictly and by someone other than my normal tutor, so I'm slightly anxious about it. I've been researching the subject in any spare time I have, hence no Bike this week and I've also been coping with a sore shoulder which doesn't like me typing for very long and occasionally has kept me awake at night, so I'm a little more tired than usual. I have had the delight of seeing a young hedgehog in the garden several evenings and I'm doing a butterfly workshop on Saturday, which should be interesting. I've also bought some tubes for my SLR, so if the little buggers will stay still, I might have some photos soon.

Thanks for your patience.

Study hard!

It's a tough go, but worth it.
And, I'd love to see a picture of a genuine hedgehog. We don't have them over here. Of course, you might not have them for too long in the future, either. So, send pictures before some idiot accuses them of carrying a plague.
The good part is that summer break is arriving. Two months of R&R.
Then, back to the grind.
Regardless, I'm looking forward to my next Daily Dormouse.

I thought it worked with Vinyl 78's. Try a pure copper bracelet, mine was made in London. better than Tylenol ?

Outside too?

I hope the shoulder won't keep you off the bike too, shame to miss the sunshine - or at least walking out in it a bit to get a break from the keyboard and books for a few minutes.

Good luck with the 'Tubes' on your DSLR

Have fun with the depth of field (or lack of).
I gave up with Tubes and bought a set of bellows secondhand for my Nikon. Now I can do 'stacking' and then merge the shots into one HDR image. Takes a lot of time but can be worth it.

these are two pictures I took on Monday.

Want to trade?

At the moment I'd sit your exams if you'd rid me of the mephitis residing in my kitchen vent. What animal on your fair isle most resembles the North American skunk?

Hope you do/did well on your tests.
