News from Oz
Our friend Carla from Oz is out of ICU and recovering after having a valve repaired in her heart . She is of course still very sore and uncomfortable but is progressing well and Allison spoke briefly to her on the phone this afternoon She says a lot of people must have been praying for her . She is a dear soul and Alison said Carla was really anxious about the op but sounds a lot brighter now and asked if we'd let you know that all is well. Thanks

Carla wrote as Roo .Her first story was "The Girl inside the Boy" and then "Carla's Journey" ,both before her surgery at an advanced age .
I was fortunate enough to be able to be a mentor for her as were a lot of people on Big Closet . She was more than somewhat concerned to be facing open heart surgery at her age but has come through with flying colours. I am sure that you will join me in wishing her well with many thanks to ' Drea for passing the message .
