I will be honest i rarely dream anymore, not in years.
I went to the doctor, with a joint so inflamed yesterday, the doctor offered me a cortisone injection. and opioid pain killers while the joint healed.
I an on my second ay of taking the meds and i am sleeping a lot and these dreams i am having are so out of this world, i do not like it.
basically i almost lugged the doctor with my good hand while he was inspecting the pained joint, he ducted, but i was actually about to slam my fist into his table, then he goes please don't break my table.
I wish they had other options than opioids for pain killers, the only good thing i have not felt depressed since i started treatment.

Those are know to do that
Doc had me taking oxycotin and hydocodone together, before and after my back surgery. I do remember some really strange dreams also. NO nightmares that I can remember but really vivid and different dreams for sure.
We the willing, led by the unsure. Have been doing so much with so little for so long,
We are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

I have ben on stronger stuff in the past. but it has been a long time since i took any narcotic pain meds. I was just using tylenol or advil. but alas they stopped helping so I went to the doctor and he aid take the pain meds you will heal faster. while dreaming last night I was remembering every story ever read on BCTS. it was all playing through me head and in my dreams really weird and vivid.
I also went to another back doctor recently about my back and was told the surgeries that were used to fix it are not being done anymore, the ratio of success to death or injury in surgery were too high on the negative side. but my new bed is finally helping.

Opioids
I have to wonder, is it the opioids, or the corticosteroids, or the combination of the two? I rather suspect the latter. Why? Several years ago, I had an injury that involved a deep puncture and, fortunately temporary, nerve damage. No cortisone involved, but the doctor had a terrible time getting my opioid patch dosage strong enough to let me sleep. I don't remember any bad/weird dreams through the whole six months I was on them. I have at other times been on corticosteroids (for pneumonia) - again no strange dreams.
