I realize that some people like them, and I also realize that it takes a lot of work to set one up, but I have requested this before.
I do not want an author page that has general links to my stories.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that someone would go to the trouble of working on one, but I have said that I didn't want one before, and unfortunately that still stands.
Most of my stuff right now is teenage angst, romance, sweet-spot drivel, yes. But I don't plan on everything I write being such, and I don't want people to be mislead by not having some form of information concerning ratings/keywords/story description before starting on something that bothers them or they do not enjoy.
I apologize if this is an inconvenience, but this really is something I feel somewhat strongly about, and I've had to have it deleted before since I don't seem to have the authorization to do so myself.

I had a similar concern to yours. Some of my stories are sweet romances, and others are brutally violent. So when I built my author page, I separated my stories out into "light" and "dark." You oculd do something like that with yours, grouping all the teenage angst stories together and a separate grouping for sweet drivel, and make another organization page for more adult works.
It's not very difficult to do.

It's my intent to have an author page for every author that has more than one story. That's my idea of how to organize the site. I too write stories that have wildly different sorts of premises but I actually want people who are fans of one type of my stories to explore the other sorts of stories I write.
As I said in the title on this comment, I've provided section page types for subdividing author pages. No matter if an author wants the author page removed, it will likely be recreated at some time in the future by an editor who doesn't happen to know that the author would prefer not to have one because author pages are one of the elements of the site's organization, like shelves and bookcases in a library. Even if Stephen King asked, a library would likely not just dump his books on chairs or the floor.
