My writing went on hold when the floating radio station's studio was being built, some 5 days before broadcasting started. I had Anchored #33 written beforehand so this was published on 27th July, just before we went live.
It's been 10 days since the studio was dismantled and about a week since my normal sleep pattern should have resumed. In that time I've managed about 300 words. Of course, even England gets a summer so there's plenty of daytime jobs going on at chez Shiraz, today it was heavy duty weeding of the access lane to my front door, yesterday I was putting up roller blinds.
On top of that there's a minor sporting event in Rio. Like several BC members (and a few more million non-BC members) I was glued to the cycling events. Due to the time difference, most of the interesting sports seem to crop up post 9pm locally, my usual writing time. Can't wait for the women's hockey final, naturally!
I'm back off to the ship in a few minutes, the 2016 radio event may have ended but we're planning 2017 already as well as an event in October - plenty of work to be done.
So, I'm sure Tammy's adventures will continue but this girl is making the most of the sunshine right now.

Teenagers!
Is there a cure for grumpy teenage syndrome? Add my daughter's monthly mood swings into the mix and it ain't a wonderful experience!
Actually, that's an overstatement. School broke up on 20th July and she went off to her maternal nan's the next day, staying for 10 days. She was back for a week then off again for another 7 days. So far this week she's also done one sleepover elsewhere. I also had a school friend of her's here for 2 nights but barely saw either of them.
I had to head home just now as my home server had crashed, apparently, while she was using it. A real home emergency!

My niece is about the same
My niece is about the same age and I can gladly say that sadly like the common cold you can only treat the symptoms as there's no cure... unfortunately the only treatment for the symptoms is to not let it get to you until it crosses the line of hurtful and dangerous behavior.
Just think that in 20 or so years she will have to endure the same troubles, that is if she has children.
I'm told STFU more times in a day than most people get told in a lifetime
There is a cure but you might not like it:
wait 7-12 years.
Thanks For The Update
I'll admit to having expectations that new Tammy's would be flowing with the end of the floating radio adventure. I guess it's reasonable that you have a life also.
teenagers!
I took to a reading mission to cover the absence of our gal, Tammy." Falling of a bike!" upto 1200's plenty of grumpy teenagers in that, I didnt realize how lightly I had got of with my own. Trouble with that story is my OCD has ended up with me buying a bike! they are easier to get than a Glock like Tammys, giggle
