Author:
I have one book that I am just finishing my final draft of so that I can publish it on Amazon.
I have a sequel that I just posted the first chapter of this week.
I have another story loosely based on the Syd Barret story that I am about to post the first chapter in the next few days.
I am voraciously reading as much as I can, and I use a handful of my new friends here at BCTS to guide me in what I should read first.
What has all this got to do with Angharad, you might ask?
Karen Lockhart convinced me to read bike....OMFG I have 3000 chapters to catch up on !!!!!!!!
My life is a living hell.

Read as much as you can spare
Read as much as you can spare time for, it'll be there for a long time. They read quick and some you can glance over and not really miss anything(sorry Ang, but it's true!). Don't get disgruntled because there are so many editions, just read what you can and frankly it's a good way of letting off some steam.
But be forewarned, there are a few incredibly sad chapters that will cause tears. I know I actually cried, it's the only time I will ever admit to it and if you don't shed tears over it you aren't human.
I'm told STFU more times in a day than most people get told in a lifetime
The Reality...
...for most TG people, as well as many others in the LGBT community, is often painful and heartbreaking. It is nice that we have places like this to meet, share, and commiserate. It is truly sad how much anger, animosity, and grief that we dump onto those among us who are different.
Be kind to those who are unkind, tolerant toward those who treat you with intolerance, loving to those who withhold their love, and always smile through the pains of life.
Once you start reading you
Once you start reading you will see it's more like a story that has a main character who just happens to be TG rather than a TG story.I won't spoil it for you but the tearjerker parts I am talking about are not related to the LGBT community at all. While a lot of transphobia BS, fighting for characters' rights, and making bigots look like the scum that they truly are is a big part of the storyline in many places the heart breaking parts are regular life situations.

As someone who has recently
As someone who has recently (this weekend I fact) completed that journey, I can only state that I thought it well worth the effort. It only took me roughly 4 months to complete the task too... :-)

I have to apologize first
But I was laughing reading your part of... OMFG ...3000 chapters. That was exactly the feeling I felt when I thought to start reading Angharad's 'bike fall' story. And sadly I still feel that I was too far behind.
It's easy!
Begin - at - the - beginning, -go - forward - at - your - own - pace, - and - when - you - come - to - the - end; - stop!
Good luck, it'll be a most enjoyable journey.

The other way to do it
Is to do what I did - mind you, when I did it, I had a target of about 1000 episodes less.
Just put your life on hold for 2 weeks, and read read read read read read read. Make the odd cup of tea in between, and eat your in-house supplies occasionally. And take your laptop to the loo with you. And say to yourself: "I will go to sleep, just as soon as I finish this chapter" and then read another chapter to find out the answer to the cliff hanger.
And then remember to turn off your reading lamps at around noon. Little things like that can inconveniently interrupt your reading. Mind you, you will only have to turn them back on a few hours later, so what's the point?

And after all those efforts
And after all those efforts the story still remains unfinished.
now you have a lot to answer for
I decided to take a look at "Bike 1" and now I am hooked! just done 10 instaments, so when nothing gets done at home and boring work gets put off its your fault, giggle
It's Insidious !!!!!!
Isn't it?

So, is it the wrong time to
So, is it the wrong time to point out that I've read Bike four times, and it usually takes less than 4 days of 'spare time' to read? (Of course, the last time was about six months ago..)
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
Speed reading
I have to work full time, am doing a re-write on my first book before publishing it on Amazon, and have a sequel chapter due Friday....as well as the other book I am starting. As it is I am only up to chapter 119 of the 2953 published so far.
:(
I am doomed
