I hadn't realized just how great an author Katie was before this weekend. I purchased one of her books for my Kindle.
All I can say is WOW. I encourage everyone to do the same. This will help with bill paying I'm sure .

Katie was such a great author. Reading her stories, it made me tear up on more than one occasion. Her stories are what inspired me to start writing myself.

When she first appeared on BCTS with God bless the child and was full of doubts because of some comments I wrote a comment of encouragement along with others and have supported her from then on . I have a number of her books on my Kindle and still have tears over Bitsie . I hope she has found the peace she deserves and has become the person she should be . God bless.

Her stories were the first true TG novels I ever read. I am a first-year school teacher and stumbled upon Unreachable in my senior year of college. It shook me to the core. I advise everyone to read that series, as well as her God Bless the Child series. If you can read them without shedding tears you must have a heart of stone.
Heart and genuine emotion were hallmarks of her writing.
