I was stunned when I realized how long it had actually been since I posted anything new on either of the two stories I have going on BCTS.
There is still a lot written but not posted, but I have to honestly advise, wait for a few more installments before even considering diving back into the stories.
While not conscious, looking back, I realize I swing from goofy humor to introspective character development and back again.
Right now, I'm in the fleshing-out characters phase. So I'd advise waiting for the goofy humor phase before jumping back into either Secondhand Life or Summer of Love. There will be some heavy weather before any rainbows.
I plan to take the characters places that will only pay off with the fleshed out backstory, but right now I'm just laying the foundation. I'm hopeful that it will support the structure I have planned.

The heck with quirky humor, you are giving us some much needed character backgrounds on people who seemed one-dimensional and transparent. You are giving us a new angle on the characters, a reason to like them or hate them, and a reason to come back. Heck you even mastered the art of the cliffhanger making us have to come back to see what you are going to do Secondhand Life crew!
