I am at the age where a Colonoscopy is usually suggested. (Okay, I'm older than that but who cares) Anyway, the Booking Nurse phoned me two weeks ago to make arrangements, as my last one was five years ago. She said the earliest she could get me in was April 1st. I asked her if that was a good day, and she said "We do screening everyday but I can get you a different date if you want" I guess she had to check her sense of humour when she started work that day. Up until I got booked into the hospital, I was worried that this might be a VERY elaborate April Fools day (my wife is a nurse). Anyway, the check up was clean, so no problem. Doctor said he wanted to book me for another one in 10 years. Don't you love optimistic people. I'll be 10 years older than that Beatle song. Seriously, a Colonoscopy is no joke, but neither is Colon Cancer. Sometimes a pain in the *ss is not a bad thing.
Then I get home and see the Idea for an April Fools day challenge. Hmm there might be a story in here somewhere.......

Stick in the mud
I guess I'm kind of a stick in the mud regarding 4/1, in that I don't believe those sort of things belong in the business world, particularly when dealing with the public. There is a time and a place for everything, but the workday is not one of them.
I went outside once. The graphics weren' that great.
April Fools is IMHO fine ...
I don't mind April Fools Day in business! I heard two companies doing ads saying they aren't fooling in prices. (One is an auto dealer, the other a jewelry store).
