In my writing, I am often either inspired by, or hear in my head, lyrics to a song.
Or words from a play.

Or words I read somewhere else entirely.

So I have slipped in some of these, or made reference to them, or whatever.

And a few readers have picked up on this. They have asked me to list them.

So there follows the list, not 100% comprehensive for I have also done things like use references in some characters’ names.
As a ‘for instance’, the late and great Sir Terry Pratchett introduced to the Discworld a bit-part player who grew into many people’s affection, called Cut-Me-Own-Throat Dibbler, sometimes referred to as C.M.O.T. Dibbler.
So I have introduced two characters called Seemot and Dibbla.
This was one of my ways of honouring Sir Terry and his works.
These and other similar references are left to my readers to find and enjoy.
