Thank you, even if you did make me cry!
There have been more than a few times in my life when I wasn't sure I would see another birthday, and even a few when I wasn't sure I wanted to.
But thanks to my friends here that has changed.
It took decades, the passing of some very good friends and comrades, a lot of time talking to my therapist, a lot of tears, and the support of some very good friends, but I know who I am now.
I look forward to that drink this time next year Hon.

Stay steady on your journey. When I came out to my sons at the age of 68, the youngest had the hardest time. But just before yesterday's late news he called just to be sure I was alright. Life does improve.
