Go figure that the enemy soldier on the other side of that gun... err, blaster, is actually a nice guy...

I'm doing my best to show that this world isn't like traditional fantasy settings where Big Evil is just some dude up on a mountain plotting to enslave all that is good and holy. This is more like many layers of grey where the things that drive the world are not black and white. Glad it's coming out well.
