When the rain was non stop here a little while ago, you needed a boat to get to work. but we survived. Now it has been dry for a while, could use some more rain to nock the heat down a bit.

Hey, some people got rain yesterday. 30% chance of rain means that 30% of the area got drowned - the rest baked :) (I did see some rain in the distance, so someone got some)
supposedly 30% after 1 PM today, but I don't see anything in the sky but some cirrus haze.
Watered the lawn a bit the night before last to try to make sure it doesn't die off completely.

clearwater fl and flooding
i live in one of clearwater's 50's neighborhoods and the storm drain pipes are only 12" in diameter. because of this I've needed my pickup just to get out of my driveway after the rain a couple times this week. but on the gripping hand i'm not up north with lake effect snow.
its Florida, wait 15 minutes and the weather will change....
a man's reach should exceed his grasp,. Or what's a heaven for?
please
Send some our way. We are in the sixth year of drought and my bare dirt lawn looks terrible. They say el Nino is returning which will being rain and snow. It isn't soon enough for me, Arecee
It really won't be enough for you either...
Sad to say, but the el nino may bring temporary relief, but it will be short lived and likely more destructive than beneficial.
