beaver tail?
Something tells me this is not the tail of a beaver, but you have me intrigued. I think I heard John Pinette mention it once but I forgot what it was? Is it a breakfast thing?

Looking up the receipe
It would seem it's a lot like an elephant ear that you see at state and county fairs.

beaver tail
Its not like a bear claw but much thinner and drier. We also have bear claws. Here is a link.

Also its a regional thing. Where I live people would look at you funny if you asked if they've had one.

Oh Canada!
Growing up in North Dakota, we shared an international border and peace garden https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Peace_Garden
It was often said, "When you go north from here it's like you're going into a whole other country."

Canada Day
Hi: I intend to spend Canada Day being thankful & repairing my canoe, after a great breakfast & a cool swim. Go Blue Jays; Another Brian
From those of us south of the border......
Especially those of us who have had the good luck to spend a fair amount of time in Canada.....
Happy Canada Day to all of my Canadian cousins; good friends, good partners, and great allies in times of need. On the eve of our Independence Day, I salute you on the anniversary of the ratification of your Constitution.
Enjoy the day.

Yay Canada!
I wish I lived there.
Go Canada!
The picture is tongue-in-cheek, but it made me laugh when I saw it, especially the maple-leaf bikini.

Just come home from Canada.....
.... couldn't stay for WWCSemi-Final or Canada Day, but had a blast!! All the way from Calgary to Banff to Jasper to Vancouver to Victoria (then a side trip to Alaska) and then to Whistler.... Thank you Canadians/Canada, you are such wonderful people in a wonderful country. The beer is brilliant - quite like true English Ale in many cases..... Wish I could have dressed while with you but..... accompanied! Back home 4500Km away now - love you lots! Ginger xx
