On the one hand (and the more important one at that,) it's GREAT to have a job again, and I'm making more per hour than I've ever made before, with semi-stable hours to boot.
On the other....
I'm completely, utterly thrashed at the moment. As mentally ready as I was to get back to work, my body is definitely feeling it, especially after two six-day-in-a-row sessions virtually back to back. I'm sore, and I'm exhausted to the point that writing has been the last thing on my mind: heck, some days I've barely gotten out of my bed until time to go to work.
That said, the physical demands of the job have already helped me lose enough weight that the work pants I JUST BOUGHT are already falling off of me, and with any luck things will only improve the longer I do the job. My feet and knees hate me for it, but I just bought new shoes to help with that.
So, if you don't hear from me very often for a while, it isn't that I've given up the ghost or anything. No: it's that I'm trying really hard to advance my life, my prospects, and soon my transition. Please, wish me luck.

Don't stop
Good luck.
I salute you....
first, for the inadvertent but pleasantly surprising lowering of your pants. But also because you're a great gal and a terrific author!

You GO Girl!
Yea you! Building a real life that works for you is so much more important than our virtual lives on the net. I have missed your writing lately and will continue to do so but I'm much happier that your life is working better for you.
Congratulations
You sound wonderful!

It will get easier
As you get more used to it though if you start on the girly pills, humping boxes could become hard work.
Whatever the future holds for you, I wish you luck and look forwards to hearing about your progress and hopefully reading one or two things you write from time to time.
