I am nearing completion of Worth Fighting for and was hoping for feed back. First, what do you think of the cover?

Does it intrigue anyone?

Second. I'm having a debate about whether I should post the story online. To date, all my works have been published on BC and I would hate to buck that trend, but I wonder if it hurts me in the long run. I don't want to seem selfish or ungrateful to the site, but are my sales suffering. If people followed what they did on unreachable and posted a review, I would feel easier about giving it away free but I don't feel it's right to put that condition on anyone.

Comments

In response.

The cover works; I'm intrigued.

As for the other question, it probably does hurt your sales some. Only you can decide if it's worth it to post anyway or not. My own hope/option in this respect is to go ahead and continue to post here, but not include every story; the one I'm currently writing won't air here, as I promised Erin it would be an exclusive and not shown anywhere else. It is my hope that my fans will be understanding enough and curious enough to check it out; at least those that can. Maybe that will be true for you?

Maybe

You're a talented writer. Could you write the story so that there's a natural cutoff after the first 15,000 words? Tell a complete story, but lead into the rest of the book. Tell enough to introduce the characters and reach an "end" -- yet have 50,000 more words waiting for online sales.

Most of your stories have great arcs. Could be a natural for you.

Just an idea.

i am intrigued

I loved the first two books and am dying to read this one. I really enjoy your writing.

Intresting Cover.

I would say add a hint more color to it to catch the eye, it is almost monochrome.

Personally stories I have read here and liked, I have later bought if they are on Amazon. I may be weird tho, or at least weirder then average. *giggle*

Would someone who did read a story here have bought it if they did not read it here? I have no idea what the over all trend is, or even how you would track it. I don't know.

I do like reading the feedback & comments most of the time, that is not at all the same thing as reviews.

in answer to both questions

1. the cover is good, but as someone mentioned, maybe a little more color?

2. i have enjoyed your stuff, and even if i read it here, i have bought a copy, in some instance i have bought gifts copies for some. but i know i am probably in the minority in that, if you need to i have no problem buying it to read it personally, but you are known to me now. i am reading 300 rains based on your review of it, and so far it is great.

Cover is OK

Yes, cover does intrigues. More color will add more sweet to it. Noticeability among other covers (almost all in full color) should be good because of desaturated image.

I love the cover

It make you wonder what's going on in the story. The second question is a tough one hun. I had to buy it ax I couldn't wait to see what happned in the story. So it's kind of a double edged sword unfortunately.
