We need to be careful
We, meaning LGB, and T folk have the right to full services, but we do not have the right to be snarky or offensive. Right now, a substantial part of public opinion is for us, but if we act wrong we could lose that. This morning has been particularly odd because I admonished some people on a Facebook LGBT group to be a little nicer and it just blew up in my face. The hard core LGBT feminists will set our rights back if they keep it up.
When is the religious right going to grow up?
Religion is the bane of humanity, what's it got to do with sexual orientation or gender identity? It's simply a bigots charter. If I say the whole thing offends my religion, will they scrap it?

... because your religion offends their concept of their religion. You're wrong. You see, they've written all sorts of things between the lines of the scriptures. Interpretation aside, most of them don't know what's in there in the first place. They hire interpreters who have their own self determined task of fleecing the ignorant. Of course, some of them actually believe that fairy tale. They gather their little group of haters, take their money, and spread their hate further. This whole thing is so disgusting. I think I will open up a store and put up a sign banning Christians. They'd probably burn it down immediately because it offends them.

Many of Us Knew This Was Coming
Our friend in the community are up in arms about this. Many are threatening to move to Oregon. I'm thinking northern California The political majority in this state and those representing us at the federal level disgust me. Tom Cotton is at the top of he list. I wish he'd go play jacks on the Interstate.

Yesterday the governor of Arkansas said he would sign the legislation. Then, officials of Walmart, which is headquartered in Arkansas, met with the governor, who now says he will veto it.
One wonders if Walmart, seeing the backlash in Indiana and calls to boycott Indiana based businesses, might be concerned?
Also, some dozen companies located in Indiana have publicly voiced objections to that state's new law and the Indiana governor has ordered the legislature to clarify that the new law does not promote any discrimination.

It Looks Like They Are Backing Off On It A Bit
The governor fell short of vetoing it, but asked that it be withdrawn and rewritten. Wal-Mart and Acxiom got to him. Making noise has helped.

Acxiom is not a Company I'd trust.
It's funny that Acxiom even cares about the bill, as they are known to transfer GLBT and other Minority employees to soon to be defunct business units, just before closing them down and laying off all the employees. (KimEM was a victim of that in 2000/2001 right after transitioning.)
