Are there any people here who would like to proofread the story I'm currently working on?
As I'm German I'm probably getting some idioms wrong or build sentences in a strange way. Comments on the plot would be appreciated too.
The story is about gynecomastia and, in a later part, lesbian romance in a high school setting. It's far from finished, about 8000 words now. And I'm a slow writer.

What word processing software do you use?
It matters because whoever is going to have to send you revised content.
I use an ascii text editor.
I use an ascii text editor. Format is plain text (actually it's markdown) with max 80 chars per line. The line endings are Linux style, but I can convert it. Anything but Windows Notepad should be able to read it.
I can work with plain text, Word or OpenOffice/LibreOffice documents.

for what exactly? I'm certainly not belittling your language skills but given the complexities of English (shush - 'mericans get it wrong a lot!) I fear 'good enough' is like me saying I speak German - I can, a little but I certainly don't get half of any conversation! (I can order food and drink and some basic stuff but I draw the line much beyond that!)

that Anne Margarete is really good at English. They usually don't dub movies and TV series in The Netherlands but only use subtitles. So the Dutch learn English just by watching TV. Actually I think my English isn't so bad either, just needs some polish.
