Why is it so much easier to start than to finish?
I guess it's also easier to just stop than to "finish" as well.
I knew I had to finish what I started with Dead Ringer because it seemed to be getting away from me and turning into more of an action thriller than the tale of survival and triumph of the trandgender protagonist that I originally intended.
I also really had to get out of the bad guy's head. It was giving me nightmares.
So, for better or worse, it's done. It took 50lbs of karma crammed into a 5lb bag to do it, But it's done. And I can now go take a long cleansing shower.
I remember reading that after giving a stunning and unforgettable performance in "A Face In The Crowd" Andy Griffith was so disturbed by where he had to go to capture that character, that he swore to only do comedies and light fare after that.
I think I know how he felt.
I am never going that dark again.
I am so looking forward to getting silly, and maybe sappy, romantic, possibly poignant and/or heartwrenching with Summer of Love and Secondhand Life.
I am so over 'Dark and Menacing' :-)
Thanks for reading and for being my companion as we traveled through those dark, menacing spaces together.
I promise lighter journeys from now on.

So you've had seven bells knocked out of you eh?
I love secondhand life btw. There are things about it that I have already commented over but it is what it is.
