I'm mortified that my last fiction updates were nearly 3 months ago.
Yes, I've been having 'muse troubles' (she vanished without a trace, leaving me to slog along on my own), but I managed to eke out a bit more of both Dead Ringer and Summer of Love.
It's funny. I have the endings of both stories crystal clear in my head... and I've written both final chapters, which I suspect will find their way - pretty much intact, to this site.
My biggest challenge is connecting the dots. Getting from where I left off to where I plan to finish. I was counting on my muse to get me there, but for the moment at least, it seems I'm on my own.
My apologies to the readers I left hanging. I truly feel awful about that. Future installments may not come as fast and furious as before (weekly if not more often), but I'm determined to push both stories forward and hopefully keep them entertaining, as they work their way to closure.
My sincerest thanks to those who have not given up on me.
...and... if you choose to wait for me to finish both stories before even starting to read them... I understand. It's probably what I would do myself. :-)

Thanks for pointing out my glaring goof. I'd like to claim a simple typo, but I truly thought that was how his name was spelled. If I had taken my own advice and Googled him, I never would have made that blunder. *blush*

I'm still working on every story ...
... I've started and posted, but I can only work on the ones that yell at me the loudest. I've trying very hard to finish a novel by the end of the year — a novel I hope to get published in the traditional way — so my work for Big Closet gets time when I can find it. I'm very close to putting out the next chapter of the sequel to No Obligation, No Rules ... but it has been a lot more than three months since I posted an update for that, or Bishop, or any of my other dangling tales.
My point is, don't sweat the three months, Kat. People here know that things get in the way, and cut an awful lot of slack. I'm a good example. *grin*

Happens to me all the time.
I have 10 such stories on my hard drive at the moment. I know exactly where they are going... I just don't know how to get them there. Every now and then, I'll open one of them and push a few paragraphs out and come to a point where I need to think about how to get from there to the end I have in mind.
Sometimes it's get very frustrating. In one case I had the story about three quarters of the way finished and a computer glitch sent it in the bit bucket. You know that mysterious WOM (Write Only Memory) chip. I really liked what I had and now, try as I will, I can't get the story back to that same point. :o(
