To all my Canadian brothers and sisters, the ones I know and the ones I don't, allow me to express my sorrow and sympathy over the events in Ottawa today. I wish I could give each and everyone of you a big hug. Especially those who have a loved one involved in this crime.
Y'all take care now, ya hear?

I will add my sympathies
to our neighbors and friends to the north. My heart goes out to the families and friends of the brave soldier who was killed for no reason. He was harming no one and was doing his duty, honoring those who have given their lives for their country.
When oh when will the violence cease? WE all have to live on this spinning ball of dirt and water together. If we don't, we will all surely cease to exist.
A sad Catherine Linda Michel said that.
As a T-woman, I do have a Y chromosome... it's just in cursive, pink script.
Sad, angry and fearful.
I do not know a lot about Canada, so if anyone would like to educate me, please do? In my experience, going to BC, the Canadian Police are considerably more civil than the American ones. It is so sad that some basterd would shoot an unarmed man down in public, or anywhere. And that seems to be the trademark of radical pseudo Muslims. They have been uncommonly cowardly.
This makes peaceful Muslims cringe because none of those I know would even consider an action like that.
Yet, I know that perhaps in both Canada and America there will be those who will become emotional and advocate the killing of all Muslims. Will we learn from our treatment of the Japanese descendants in America at the time of WWII?
I have the sinking feeling that if these evil basterds are not stopped, life will grow very hard for the innocent.
I count...
Several of you Canadians as close friends. I hope you're all safe and sound.
~And so it goes...
