There's not a "News" category, so I just picked a couple that are somewhat relevant.

Apparently, there's an increasing number of TG's coming out at womens colleges. The article above is specifically about one 'trans-man' at Wellesley, but with asides about other colleges.

I'm going to be honest. I fully support the right of anyone to express themselves as whatever gender they wish to be, no matter what their physical sex might be. (XX, XY, or whatever variant might appear) That said, I am very troubled by people who are identifying themselves as men, but are pushing themselves into womens colleges. (The existence of a 'woman's' college vs 'coed', when 'mens colleges' are verboten, is a totally different issue). If you realize your gender dysphoria while in college, no problem - but is it really something that you should demand that the college change to handle? (I'm not saying "Don't transition", but while there, getting offended because a professor addresses the class in a manner aimed at women is rather strange. That's like going to a Shrine Circus and being offended by funny hats.)

Anyway - I only posted it here because it was recent, the topic is very much something people here would be interested in, and it's from an unusual perspective - that of trans-men, not trans-women.

Oh - I'll admit I got confused because of the way that the genders were mentioned. It took a bit to figure out 'current' and 'original' gender designations. I think they could have been handled better.

XX's want power

Several years ago, I was looking at all this and found that there were a lot of women in Saudi Arabia who were becoming men, because they wanted the power and freedom of men. You can guess why.

I wonder if that is not also true to one extent or another here in America? There used to be a FTM running around the Internet who was just pissed off. What ever he was looking for, I hope that he found it. There are a couple of FtM's in my building and they seem fine, though they have not shown any interest in me. :(

It's almost a strange form of male privilege

These guys feel like they should have the right to invade female space. I tend to agree they should not be there, just like transwomen should not go to an all male institution, they don't belong there either.

Umm

Yuck, that Transmisogynistic Transman that said Transwomen shouldn't go to women's colleges. Yet he's allowed? Talk about abusing your male privilege...
