I got connected with Woman Within through buying online from Lane Bryant. I love the site because the name describes me to a T... no pun intended. They have everything from nice flouncy girly girl stuff to butch things I can wear to church. I have two big shirts from there, one in black and the other in a greenish/grey that I wear with women's slacks to church. What I love about the shirts is that on close inspection, the buttons proclaim, "Woman Within" right on them.

Everyone at church sees me as a typical male, but I'm anything but typical. Within me is a woman sure as I was born. However I'm one of the fortunate ones that had a father (the only parent to raise me) who deemed inadvisable to forbid me my feminine expression, only cautioning me to not let people see me that way because they'd think me crazy. As a result, I grew up without the usual guilt about who I was. Further, over the years my wife and daughters have come to the conclusion that femme is just who I am and they treat it as normal.
