So.
Danna is the daughter that Amber was told didn't survive? At least that's what I get out of this so far. Will Danna ever get the chance to meet her real mother if that is the case?

Pretty much.
That was the big twist at the end of Amber's story. This is Danna's story, though the plot is bigger than just one character this time. You'll have to wait to see if they meet though. I'm trying to make it good either way. ;)
