I am looking for a maker of corsets that someone has had good luck with. Romantasy seems nice but I do not know them. I am thinking that it could be a nice little train ride to go down there.

Can anyone make a recomendation for the Western Half of the US or ??

There's a small place in Denver

I dunno if she's even still in business, but I got a satin, silk, leather and lace with real steel boning custom made from a woman in Denver in 2000. I know that's not all the way west, but if she's still in business, it's worth it. She isn't a specifically trans-dealer, but won't bat an eye if she knows. I needed mine for a costume piece when I was in a stage production in Detroit and talked to her at a convention in Cleveland. Wow. Quality work. If it still fit I'd get a pic of me modelling it for you, but it doesn't because I'm a cow. I paid just under $300 for her most expensive line and materials. She has a good utilitarian model (again, if she's still in business) that's around the $100 range -- which I got one of also, just because I LIKED it and it's still in my closet, as well.

Name of the shop was "Miranda's Ministrations and Cosette's Corsets" -- Miranda is the woman's name, and Cosette is her Ren Faire persona. If she's still operating, well worth the trip and expense.
