If it was me, I'd have taken Taylor up on her offer, but I can definitely see why Amber did not.
Now what about Amber's brother rejecting her?
Also I feel that what Taylor offered has the potential of being one way an archon gets created/formed/birthed.

Four years ago, I would have taken the offer, too. But then my daughter was born. How my priorities changed, but I'd still be tempted. ;)
I'm not sure if her brother, Joey, will be back in a future book. Maybe, but as a minor character only. He didn't like when she was a transformed witch. Now she's a "lesbian," too!
Archons have become human throughout history, but I don't have anything to support it going the other way. If Amber had taken Taylor's offer, we may have found out. She'd definitely be more than human, but a full archon? Anything can happen in fiction. ;)

OH WOW!!!
This is absolutely amazing! YAY AMBER! Finally she gets some love and a chance at a better life. She's worked so hard for this but I cant help but fear the looming death glow that Donald represents. I'm happy for her and her decision but... Mr Calvin is still out there and I cant believe he'd just up and leave her alone. He's a mad man and a horrible person!
Taylor has changed it seems, she still has a long way to go before she can be redeemed of what she did but it looks like she's on the right path.

I'm glad you liked my not so little tale. I've fallen in love with some of these characters, so I'm not ready to abandon them yet. ;)
Amber certainly has a few things going for her as I come to a close on her story, but there is more to tell in the Archon Saga. In the next few weeks I'll be starting on a spinoff, and you can bet Mr. Calvin will be featured in that, including a look at his and Taylor's past.
But first, I have a little bit left to wrap this book up. ;)
