I recently read the latest bikini beach installment on FM today and I had a pressing question that I wondered the answer to. When it comes to the magicks of bikini beach, is it just a transformation as in they were born female or is it a permanent female template in the case of lifetime passes.
Because the issue of an innocent being given a lifetime pass has come up, I wonder if she/he had hte option of transitioning to male or if the body would constantly repair itself. IE: If he had a mastectomy, hormone injections, phalloplasty ect. Would it stick? Or would the body magickally repair itself?

What I remember
I don't ever remember seeing this addressed in a canon story. I would say the magic changed them in a way that they did not have a gender/sex mismatch. Their brain logically knew that they were male before(If they were allowed to remember), but they didn't feel male.

Story
I would suggest that anyone who reads the story on FM be sure to read the beginning of said story. Also be aware that not everyone and I'm not saying it is or isn't but that not every story that is written for BB is Canon.
I'm finding the story both engaging and entertaining from how one of the clients is viewing what's going on.
From what I've read the story is not completely done and then and only then will I hold my final judgement on what I thought of the story.
Other than that (and this is my personal opinion) I like it.
Extremely Tardy Response
I read this post a few times after coming here, but didn't think to reply. (Sorry.) I still remember the response that section (parts 8-10) of my story "A Bikini Beach Summer" engendered. Of course, by the time I read it, this entry was moot, as the rest of the story had intervened.
I must congratulate you. You received a very high like-love-thank response here.
If I had decided to end the story here, except for winding down Luke/Lucy's story, there wouldn't have been any issue of Ruth wanting an F2M gender change. Badly unjust as it was, BB's injustice would have set in. Ruth and Luke, along with everyone else, would have thought of Ruth having always been the girl, and nobody would have thought of an F2M for Ruth. She would have been the little girl that Ma (perhaps) always wanted.
But of course, the story went on. I think I was in a state where the characters acted, spoke, reacted -- and I wrote it down, although I did decide certain things. As I understand it, one usually does his best writing in that state.
Usually, that is. You noticed that Ruth was still a bit of her old self in the following section (11-13) -- the reality-shift didn't fully take, even though she did forget about being Peter. I think that what happened in my writing was that my mind couldn't change Ruth as quickly as BB changed her, so to some degree, it was the old Ruth acting -- giving orders, taking charge, etc. She was surprisingly receptive to the possibility that she'd been Peter.
Nevertheless, I don't think that she would have gone for the F2M. I think she had mostly accepted becoming 9yo Ruth already -- at least for the summer. Who knows what would have happened with school, being forced back into 4th grade?
And I really must apologize for stalling on the sequel.

And honestly, I cant remember if your story was the reason I asked that, or ANOTHER story I had read about... you'd be surprised how often this kinda thing happens on FM XD It might have been your story but seriously it got me thinking. Why do all these magickal biological changes not realize the transgender route is an option

Specifically, parts 8-10, which was posted (to FM) the same day as your post here. (The parts were probably posted shortly after midnight.) Ruth's membership was upgraded to lifetime, and you got really mad at Grandmother and Anya for it.
