Blog About:
I am quite sad that one of my favourite stories "Almost a Girl" has come to an end. Regrettably the last episode somehow didn't appeal to me in the same way as the preceding episodes, and this has left me feeling a little bit deflated. But it has been a fantastic story to follow, and I kept thinking if only... I only hope there are further adventures to come.
I am slowly making progress through "As Easy as Falling off a Bike" and I am now at episode 141. Only another 2245 episodes to catch up on.
I have also recently read "Stuck" by Emma Finn, which is a take on transformation I haven't come across before. Being transformed into a 4 year old girl is certainly unusual. But then maybe there are lots of stories like that and I just haven't come across them. Not that I particularly want to seek them out. This story was well written and had me enthralled although I did feel it ought to continue.
I have read a couple of other short stories, but I will not name them as sadly I didn't like the writing styles. But that is the beauty of a place like BC - anyone can have a go and those authors should be congratulated for contributing.
Since my first entry, I have been given a few recommendations for which I am grateful (thanks Rhona) :) I will follow up on them, especially now that "Almost a Girl" has finished (for now).
I have also received several welcome greetings. Thanks girls, it's nice to feel welcome .

Enticing stories
Welcome!
This is a grand place for all sorts of really interesting stories. Some you will like; others will be less appealing to you, but others will find interesting. That's the great joy of this wonderful site.
So enjoy ... and remember to contribute so we can all continue to enjoy it.

Never accept no for an answer
Mandy,
I forgot many of the greatest authors who were rejected by publishers. Mark Twain, Louie Lamore?, Steven King...,
Google it
famous authors whose works were rejected
You see hon, if you have been rejected you are in elite company. So many rejection slips I lost count. Once in print I couldn't get my fat head in the door. "This is the best story I have ever read in my entire life." Daily News, along with dozens of other critics who loved the novel.
Write for the love of it. Write to please your number one audience, 'you'. It the story doesn't resonate with you it won't happen with your readers either. Share it with others for the joy of sharing happiness and pleasure.
Have fun with life
It's too short to take it seriously
And if it isn't working for you poke it with a stick. I do.

How do you find the time?
Angharad - I can barely find the time to read and catching up with your epic tome is as much a pipe dream as ever being a full woman. And still you tempt me with your other writings. Oh okay then, I'll try my best... :D
