Blog About:
I know I said I would get some through the years out, but we are having issues with internet connection staying on. It keeps coming and going and unfortunately all of writing is on Google doc, due to issues with open office. The roommate thinks the phone lines may be bad. Either way it makes surfing the net frustrating.
If I can get the darn thing to load and pull stuff to my computer, I will try to finish a chapter quickly.

having connection problems
I don't have to worry about phone wires or DSL, and or cable my cell phone set up with wifi.
I've seen a couple of places
I've seen a couple of places where people have been having trouble with connections. So it may be more than just where you are.
Open Office?
Issues with Open Office? Pray do tell.

well
may not be a big thing for most, but it tells me that each word i write is spelled wrong. so I started with google docs, so i can write with my phone at work on lunch
Such a simple thing!
That is simply an option you haven't yet found.
Go to Tools -> Options -> Language Settings -> Writing Aids.
The third box* should have a whole load of checkboxes, check or uncheck as you fancy.
* Obviously, your version may differ slightly.
(I'm currently using a special Anmar dictionary in mine; I created it in that dialog.)

I see
But with Google doc's, I can write while at work. I didn't like hte open office app. But the other big problem is the inter net is working for maybe a minutes or two, then for five it's down. Getting to the point where I'm usually on my phone because the inter net is slowing ticking me off.
You need to install Chrome and...
... then setup offline access to your documents. Then you will be able to edit documents even when internet connection breaks off.
