Well I figured I would post again and let you all know the connection issues are getting worse. First of all, I hate Frontier. At first the connection came and went. It was more off than on. Finally it is just gone. Looking into Comcast. Not too sure. As for the stories, I'd teather my phone to a computer, but have gone over the monthly allotment of internet, so it is darn slow.
I shall post again with more news

Using Frontier
I've been using Frontier, since Verizon decided to get out of the ISP business and I've had no trouble. Each time I experienced, speed, or "unable to connect to server issues, I found I had to upgrade my computer. The last time (about two years ago) I went for a custom built with as much RAM as I could pack into to in and the next to the fastest processor (wish I'd gone all the way and got the gamer processor) and I've had great success so far.

Verizon wants to deal in Fibre not Copper
Verizon is still very much in the "ISP" business. They are just focusing on non-copper delivered Internet Services. Although Verizon's notification when they sold my DSL line to Frontier was that frontier was taking over Verizon's "Rural" markets.
