I was saddened to read that the famous se-change couple Katie Hill and Arin Andrews had parted. It was a wonderful story whilst it lasted of a boy who became a beautiful young woman and a pretty girl who became a handsome young guy. Having said that they are young and it shows how Katie has blossomed and is now very content and living as normal a life in university as other students. I often feel the younger generation is more accepting of situations and I hope Katie finds happiness and future success since she was very brave.
I'm a bit sad for Arin but he is slightly younger and he seems as shy as most young guys. He is obviously disappointed but the public exposure and the experience has hopefully matured him. Let's hope he too is accepted in University and not bullied or made fun of since he makes a good young man.
So two people changed sex and then ended up in pretty typical situations when one heads off and the other is still at home.
I expect they will be out of the public glare now that is the upside. I hope they can live the lives they want and certainly will miss the updates. It was a great story but maybe the happy ending is they can both move on and the instant fame can fade away.
