I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms. I've been without a Daily Dormouse fix for two days. It will be three tomorrow. ARGH!!!
Angharad, what's happened? Are you OK? I'm sure I'm not the only one suffering from DWS (Dormouse Withdrawal Syndrome).

She was online today around 6 PM eastern standard time so she must be busy in real life. I know the weather is real bad in the states this week but have not been following it England.

It is a long road ahead but I will finally become who I should be.
Rough Weather in the UK
I saw pictures on the news this morning about record breaking waves in South Wales. Perhaps the weather is at fault.

Weather
I have previously attached a link to reports from West Wales. I am in the middle of floods here, and where Ang is has suffered some extreme flooding and very high winds. Parts of Weymouth, for example, have lost sea stacks, and the causeway is closed. Chesil Beach has apparently been 'reshaped'.

withdrawal symptoms???
Angharad put out a blog called "8068 words" on January 01 saying that there might be no or little product the following week.
This was attributed to doing one's taxes... gulp.... something I really hate to consider since things for me have become complicated having been in one country for nearly eleven months and another for the remainder of the year. The company is going to have tax people do my returns since I haven't a clue at the moment.

P.S. wow, I got this whole comment out without crashing my internet (I hope)
P.P.S figures... I got this comment out then tried to download a story chapter and things went to ....... in a handbasket.
I thought logging on at two thirty in the morning would help but obviously.... N O T. at least I know the problem is on my end.

forgot that
i remembered a post about a day or two, but now i remember it, and knowing she was online, thats good, we can live without bike, even indefinitely but losing someone of her caliber would be terrible.

I Also Am Worried
I also am worried.
Though I am experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms, her wellbeing obviously must be paramount.
Having said that:
DWS
I PM'd Ang yesterday because our news is full of stories and spectacular pictures of the sea on the UK south and west coasts and wondered how it was affecting her in deepest Dorset. She's certainly OK but it's been very wet and very windy in her area plus she seems to be busy with work etc.
We don't suffer too much with weather extremes in the UK (certainly not temperatures around -40c as in the parts of the US right now) but we have had a queue of Atlantic lows following one another and bringing heavy rain (up to 50mm/day) and very strong winds for weeks. I'm glad the winds have been relatively mild from the south or south-west because that amount of precipitation as snow would have been very bad. Strangely, the gaps between the lows have brought very short period of quiet sunny days, at least here in Derbyshire. So we managed a few pleasant but very muddy walks over the Christmas/New year.
Our current weather pattern is just something else we can blame on the USA! According to an article I read yesterday the low temperatures in N America are doing a lot to accelerate the jet stream that's bringing us our bloody rain. So I hope all you lot over there are happy you're causing we Britons so much misery :)

Due homage to Eric Burden and the Animals for that. Proper R&B if you ask me.
Whither Weather
Ahh, but you see our weather is being driven by the cold arctic air coming in from the north. Having watched the weather maps quite closely for the last week, this Arctic Vortex is coming to us from Canada! You're blaming the wrong country! (snicker!)
