I think it is pretty obvious why these two created such a stir. If I could look like that they could kick me off every flight.

Maybe they should offer complementary Burqas?

Better look at this quick before it is gone. Yeah, totally.

Where's The Beef?

CNN is turning into a really crap news organization. If there was a story there, they certainly didn't get it. What happened to interviewing other passengers, the flight crew, the girls' parents or friends as character witnesses, or the airport police to explain why they got involved? Everything about the story is a bit amateurish and seemingly aimed at a low-rent audience. The only thought in my head after watching it, was to look at the calendar to make sure it wasn't actually April 1.

A bad day for somebody

They are pretty, I'd kill to look like the blonde girl. But is that what really happened? I dunno. I had my shit jumped by an AA flight attendant once for bumping into her while boarding and not apologizing enough. AA had canceled the last flight out of O'Hare the night before and re-booked me on a break of dawn flight the next morning. I'd just flown in from Norway and was seriously jet-lagged, and while making my way down the aisle to my assigned seat I bumped the FA (who was standing in the aisle) and said "excuse me". She replied "You could say you're sorry! You people are getting ruder every day. . ." and continued in that vein. I did get an apology from the senior FA when I got off, so I let it go. But it was obvious somebody besides me was having a bad morning!

There are three sides to this story: their's, the flight attendants, and the truth. All we've heard so far is their side.

Southwest Airlines

Ah, that is about the third incident like this for that Airline in the last several months. Maybe all the FAs are just getting jealous because they are getting old and ugly. The girls were pretty provokative, though. If the airlines are going to start having morality police like in Saudi Arabia, then maybe they should also have Burquas girls like that could borrow. LOL.

I would be so flattered to be harrassed because I was too pretty. :)

That's Infotainment!

Or maybe this kind of thing has been happening off and on for years,
but the "news" organs discovered they had a HIT with the story of the lady
with the too-short skirt, and are manufacturing a trend where there ISN'T one...
Becomes a self-fullfilling prophecy. Somebody's rude to you on a plane?
Hold a press conference! FEH! But I guess it's far better than the

Where's Howard Beale When We Need Him

" 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!' I want you to get up right now, sit up, go to your windows, open them and stick your head out and yell - 'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad!... You've got to say, 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Then we'll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis. But first get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it."
