I'm getting a little misty-eyed here. I don't have many friends here. And no family.
It's nice to have some people who care.
Oh, just to share a laugh... They were amazed at my typing skills. I had over 60 (66 to be precise) wpm with 1 mistake on their typing test when I did it from my Macbook Pro. They wanted me to retake it at my interview yesterday. After all, "guys" don't type like that. So I did.
LOL
On a standard keyboard, I hit 71 with no mistakes. Ha. :D

I can sympathize.
I have been between jobs in the past and my younger Evil BlondTM sister is.
Fortunately we both have family to fall back on.
Not everyone is so fortunate.
Work hard and smart. And if this current job lacks a chance of advancement or is not to your taste remember employers are far more likely to hire a worker away from another firm than hire an unemployed.
That you have a job is "proof" of your worth.
But if you do job hunt while at another job make sure the current job does not find out until you have new employment. IE job search from home and never from your current job.
And NEVER burn your bridges to an old job, even one you did not like. References are gold.
