Okay here's the question. Do you get a headache when you start writing or typing?
I'm being serious here as I've been trying for weeks to finish a story and everytime I start or try to start to type a scene my head starts to hurt. I know the scene and where its going but when I start its like a migraine is starting up. I end up having to quit so it will go away.
If I was to do some minor editing of what I have written there isn't much of a problem.

It could be a few things...
... for example,
Screen, too bright - Mine is set to 60% brightness, even when on mains power.
resolution set to high - I have to keep mine at 1024x768 or I have the same problem.
too low. - not been a problem since I got a laptop.
at the wrong angle. - not been a problem since I got a laptop.
If you have a desktop pc, the way you sit at it can cause problems.
I also wear glasses.
Hope these surgestions help!
Have Your Vision Checked
You could also be having ergonomic position problems that are raising your shoulders so you can type. You need to make sure your shoulders and arms are relaxed. Do not rest your hands on the key board. Adjust your chair accordingly. Tense muscles in the neck and shoulders can easily lead to headaches and other ergonomic related problems. Improper hand angles can lead to carpal tunnel syndrome.

Did that already. Got new glasses for computers. Monitor is fine also. Also should have mentioned but failed to do so, is that it occurs when I'm writing to a notepad also. I can close my eyes and still have the same effect. I'm a touch typists since high school in the 70's.

Drink lots of water.
Not coffee, not soda pop, and not booze. Drink lots of water. The first sign of dehydration is headache.
