This afternoon my eldest brother had invited my parents, my younger brother with his family and me to a birthday party for my niece.
The other siblings live to far away to just come over for an afternoon.

After coffee and cake the kids went off to play and I finally had the opportunity for my coming out to my father and my eldest brother.
They were the last two of my immediate family, now everyboy of them knows that we are not five brothers and one sister but four and two ;)

As expected my father reacted only surprised, he joked a little bit about that he remembers talking about the names Martin and Martina before I was born.
We had a nice talk, everybody is accepting me and wishing me luck. They only fear that I may get big problems at work, but we have very strict diversity and anti discrimniation policies at this international company. I'll see if these only exist on paper to satisfy the stockholders.
My siblings also asked my to tell them in advance when I'm planning to drop my current male disguise also around the family.
Currently I plan this for autumn/winter this year, so they have enough time to talk to the kids and prepare them for my switch from uncle to aunt :)
