well
given that my laptop has ceased to function today, 2 cameras have likewise died in the last fortnight and prior to that my desktop visual output went kapput the fact that i got the updates up today is a minor miracle!

Blame the sun spots. It may not be WHAT happened BUT IT IS BETTER than making Murphy mad at us. And it makes us sound smart. Like we know what we are talking about.
Sorry for all of the problems you are having, and here is a prayer to the digital gods 1 and 0 that they smile on your equipment and allow it to work again or t5hat cheep to free replacements become available to you. Considering that I live at the tailing edge of the tech curve, I am amazed that any of my stuff works. But I do make offerings to 1 and 0 on a regular basis and I do recycle so the parts can be reincarnated. Ah the circle of digital life.
