It has been some time since I posted my last blog entry...
Two weeks ago I found the hair style I can use to let my real self be seen till my own hair will be long enough:
I still need to learn a bit about makeup so smoothen some "rough edges", the first appointment for some lessons is in two weeks ;)
Since December I've been seeing a psychiatrist, today I got the letter for my endocrinologist to start the HRT.
That appointment is scheduled for next week :D
My current plan is to get used to the new hormones for a few months before I drop my male disguise completely. Till then I'll practice in the evenings and on the weekends.
My coming-out to family and friends is also done in small steps, I've already talked to my best friends, my mother and three of my four brothers. I still have to tell my last brother, my sister and my father. But we have a big family gathering soon and I hope to find there a bit of alone time with each of them.
Till now everybody accepted it without problems and I don't expect anything worse from the others.

Lookin' Good Girl!
Your face already looks nicely oval with just that hairstyle alone. Your neck's a wee bit large though... Either change the hairstyle to curl around to the front and in around the neck or use contouring on the neck and highlighting on the face to "thin" your neck.
I'm sure your beautician will tell you all you need to know and more when you see her though!
But you're already VERY convincing, not just passable. At least features wise.
So congratulations, and good luck!
Abigail Drew.
Small Steps
I would say a good makeup job and you would look great right now except your adams apple would need hiding with a neck piece.

looking good hon!
baby steps, and you'll get there.
you look fabulous! Good luck with completing the family 'thing'
I love your look, for the girl-about-town...... in your shoes, I'd look to have an evening wig with more variety of shades, lightly highlighted perhaps. Go for it girl! Be happy. xx
