If you're coming to Louisville for the Derby Saturday, Please come a day early and attend "The Oaks" on Friday. This is such a popular event that all the schools are closed... Not because the kids won't come, but because the teachers won't. Anyone who loves beautiful dresses, beautiful hats and beautiful women (I suspect that includes most of us) should attend this event or at least check out the pictures.
Look for me in my pink strapless gown and my pink picture hat!

In the Pink!
Of course, for the more obvious reasons, to attend as a Northern Belle would be lovely. I lost two aunts to breast cancer, and would love to honor their memory.
