Things are going really well and I am still plugging away at my academic/religious work "The Transsexual at the Cross: Disproving the myth that transsexuality is wrong" It isn't that long, but very intense on research and logic, therefore also very draining. I have to decide a lot of important factors.
1.) Do I make this a three part series (part 2 being biblical answers for transsexuals and part 3 being a code of conduct for the Christian transsexual and how the church should respond.
2.) How do I make it available so it gets proper buzz
3.) How do I plan to respond to all the negative criticism.

I think your best option is to break your article into pieces, to separate out theology from dogma, since there is no single Church that calls themselves Christian. Theoretically, your section that references scripture would be applicable to all Christians, whereas your section that gets into specifics within your own Church would be less universal. You may want to make that Code of Conduct section more personal, as a "this is what works for me" rather than "this is what you should do," to avoid coming across as too holier than thou. An actual code of conduct for all Christians be they trans or cis boils down to just two rules: love your God and love your neighbor, so your piece on that would just be an interpretation of how to apply those two rules for transpersons.
As far as how to generate buzz, see if there's a website or email address for your Church's national organization and send it to them. Or start small and send it to your local or state Church. You'll probably generate more discussion getting the church to talk about trans issues than getting the trans community talking about church.
(Full disclosure: at this point in my life I am not a Believer, but I have no quarrel with those who are.)
