Three Cheers for Ellen! <3
Wow oh hooray for everything wow this is so great that there is more and now....
*draws breath*
Thanks so much! <3
Humble thank you's.
I love the main series of Tucker. It's one of the stories you can endlessly re-read and everytime there's something wonderful in there to find. You are one of those writers that make me want to write after reading something of yours.
Thank you so much for the hard fought work.
*Great Big Hugs*

+ 10000 xp and level up!
Very good chapter! Thanks!!!
Unfortunately
10,000xp doesn't do a lot when you're 22nd level. =) Now, 340,909xp would do the trick... and I'd get extra 7th and 8th level spells as well.
Now if I could just get a copy of Zombie Double...

I thought that I'm not that old :-)
"In my day..." 10000 xp should have been enough to get you level up :-) By D&D rules you need only 22000 xp to go from 22 to 23 and you got at least 15000 for your Valentine's day episode :-) .
340000+ xp would have got you straight to level 34 or 35. Or directly from level 1 to 26 :-)
But OK. I will throw in free upgrade point ;-)
Oh, child, you are so wrong
Lessee, p.26 of the First Edition (all rise) AD&D Player's Handbook says 3,000,001 to 3,375,000 for 18th level, and 375,000 per level above that. 22nd level comes to 4,500,000. That doesn't take into account the +10% bonus to experience for an INT of 16+. Which requires 4,090,910 total for 22nd level.
Second edition (which is what I used) doesn't go up that high in levels until TSR 215, PHBR4, Complete Wizard's Handbook, but it's there.
I think my day predates your day considerably. =)
Ellen, 22nd level Necromancer of Threads, and possibly leveling up
I never had any formal books for AD&D...
... And actually never have played non-computer versions... but friends in college who used to play those games used D&D rules, without A.
And yes, it was during last years of Soviet Union, so no one of my friends seen actual books. Only hand copied or typewriter copies of main rules and tables.
So, I'm not that young ;-)
However
But my parents got me into gaming during the Reagan years. So I'm still older-in-gaming than you. =)
Honestly, I don't think I've ever played a computer version. My dad likes 'em, though. *makes crazy sign*
